Can Mike Make a Hit Podcast?

Can Mike Make a Hit Podcast?

This is a special edition with a special guest where we seek the answer to the age-old question “Can Mike make a hit podcast?” Helping explore this question is Richard Mitson, a former news editor and journalist from jolly ol’ England. Richard is somewhat of a podcasting expert. He’s started and quit five different podcasts. He now hosts a podcast titled “Can I Make a Hit Podcast?” Mike and Richard talk about all things podcasting. If you’ve ever thought about starting your own podcast, you probably shouldn’t. There are already 900,000+ of them out there, so what could you possibly have to add to the medium?

But, if we haven’t sufficiently discouraged you, take notes while you listen to this episode. If you are now convinced that you have no business making a podcast, just listen and be entertained as Mike and Richard go “behind the scenes”, if you will, to explore what actually makes a successful podcast. It will give you a little bit of a look inside the psyche of the mind behind Wisecrackin With Winter, if you’re in to such things.

In addition to the ins and outs of podcasting, Rich gives Mike some British perspectives on American politics, celebrities, and social media. And Mike? Well, you know he’s got opinions to share, as always.
